Welcome to the Instructopod wiki, the online home of Miss Does' class and her world-famous Instructopod project!
Parents, you'll want to check out the Information for Parents page. There you'll find information tailored especially for you. I'll be periodically updating that page to let you know about the latest goings-on in the classroom, so make sure to come back and check from time to time.
Students, this wiki will be the hub for all of the classes online activity. The hub is the center part of a wheel to which all the spokes connect and around which the whole thing spins. We may do more things online than just our Instructopod project, but it will all revolve around and be connected to this wiki. The wiki will be where you post your vocabulary, where you participate in online discussions of readings, where you turn in web-based assignments, and where you can come to have fun when you need a study break.
For a guide to your weekly wiki assignment (including how it will be graded) see the Assignments page.
You'll find the Instructopod project materials (assignment sheet, rubric, etc.) at the Instructopod page.
Last, but most certainly not least, the page entitled "Fun!" is where you'll find things that are fun!
Of course, the fact that there's a page called "Fun!" doesn't mean that the rest of the site isn't also meant to be enjoyable. Everything here is designed with one purpose in mind: allowing you to learn, to be creative, and to enjoy English!
